A company name is the first image that a business projects. It should convey your core values. Some factors we consider when naming a company are: is it memorable, unique, conveys personality, simple, different, and can we trademark it?

We start with key word list and pull it all together from there. Below are just a few of the over 100 names we came up with before settling on THRIVE Cannabis Marketplace.
Remedy / Dubliant / The Cure / Highroller / Desert Green / Flourish / Whifty Spliffy / Atomic Bloom /  Cannabis Culture Crew / Desert Blaze.
Based off the answers to our positioning strategy document we determined the best approach for the THRIVE brand was to be organic, urban, indy (just a pinch of rebel, i.e. no limits, rage against the machine).
Now that we have a logo and a good ideal of what we were trying to create in a cannabis marketplace next came the retail space and extending the brand. We create mood boards that help to visually convey the style and tone for the brand.


The owner had years of experience in the cannabis industry so he knew exactly how he wanted the store to flow. Coming from Colorado his desired style was urban industrial, organic with bold colors and art.

The wood flooring was already purchased so we worked with the color and texture to create a rustic, comfortable environment. We supported local artists to fabricate the logos icon in distressed wood and weathered metal, then acquired large scale paintings from the Guerrilla Artz Foundation.

We designed custom wall paper in a bold, black and white graphics made up of Las Vegas and cannabis icons, in addition to images the owner wanted to incorporate making it more personal.

The wall design was an instant success so we extended it into the marketing materials and even used it as the foundation for the monster truck wrap.

Only in Vegas can you find a cannabis showgirl working the Strip. So we hired her and created a whirlwind of photo ops and social tags at different events around town #thrivecannabis!

And last, but not least, was some killer merch and a smart website with easy navigation fully optimized to show up for almost any cannabis search term on Google.
